What Have I learnt Today In Room 7....

What I have learnt today with room 7 is how to make tidy numbers and also how to do doubles and halves with my teacher Mrs. Tuakoi.

Here is an example -

356 + 8 = 

-2 ⬇     ⬇+2 

356 + 10 = 456

so what have I showed you is. when your teacher give you 

356 + 8 you must make it a tidy number to 10. So what have i've showed you is 356 take away 2 would be 354 so then you add the other 2 that you have gotten from the 356.

then you add the 2 to the 8 then it will become a 10 so then you add it all up. So this would be the answer.

354 + 10 = 454
